Remote Help
What is 'Remote help'?
Remote Help uses a programing language called Java to safely let our technicians 'take control' of your computer over the Internet. We see your desktop & share control of the mouse & keyboard allowing us to look around, download any necessary programs directly to your computer & run programs as necessary to fix your problems. How does it work?
First phone to book an appointment (we can often remote in immediately - but this is not always the case) while you're on the phone we can walk you through the log in process - if we feel Remote Assistance is practical for your current problem ... obviously your Internet connection needs to be working & the computer needs to be running. Using Internet Explorer (I'm afraid it HAS TO BE Internet Explorer at the moment - Firefox/Chrome/Opera etc are too problematic at the moment) just click on this link or copy http://220.233.34.134:443/ & paste it into Internet Explorer's address box, hit Enter. The Java Applet (a program) will run using your browser ask you a few questions (like your name & company) then hey presto sit back & watch what we do (or go & have a cupper - whichever you prefer). What is it going to cost me?
Obviously there's no 'Call out fee' as we don't have to drive to your home, so its a straight $80 per hour - with a 1/2 hour minimum. If you have any questions please ask.
